Finally getting somewhere with the 2007 DC3 Challenge. Lots of damaged media and with my Defcon15 presentation - I gave away lots of tips for challenges 1,3,4,5.
I have also made much more progress with my string extaction. I found out that other systems do some levels of string extract, I like mine because I rank the strings based on entropy and password class.
